T.T 26SS LOT.113 OPEN COLLAR SHIRT
This design is based on an American-made Italian collar shirt from the 1950s. The body is cut in a slightly relaxed silhouette with a length suitable for wearing tucked or untucked. The fabric is a cotton-rayon blend with a kasuri-style pattern. Light and soft to the touch, it offers a breezy comfort even on hot days. Of the three available colors, AKITASUGI BEIGE and AKITASUGI DIRK BLUE are hand-printed with woodgrain patterns using natural dye extracted from Akita cedar. Factories capable of hand-printing with natural dye are extremely rare, and this technique is the result of extensive experimentation. The variation in tones is achieved through mordanting, though the specific recipe remains secret. SAKURA color is dyed using a natural pigment derived from cherry tree bark. The dye can only be harvested during the cherry blossom season, making this version an especially rare and refined piece. MUD DYED BROWN is carefully dyed one by one using “mud dye” , the traditional dyeing technique of Amami Oshima Island. None of them look the same, as all of them are one of a kind.
