LOT.033 CCC CAP

This cap is a redesigned interpretation of those worn primarily in winter by members of the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps). The silhouette has been carefully adjusted for easier wear, while retaining the original two-way construction with ear flaps to protect against wind and rain.

Although a similar model was produced by Filson, this version features a more streamlined pattern that facilitates easier construction. It is likely that, at the time, the design was optimized for efficient production to meet rising demand.

The outer shell is made from tightly woven cotton canvas using a shuttle loom, and the lining is crafted from moleskin. The entire piece is garment-dyed for a rich, lived-in texture.
